By no means let slip how a magic trick is performed, that's component of the secrecy surrounding even an uncomplicated magic trick. Today you can find a lot of books and video clips on the net where you'll be able to come across out how a magic trick is done. It would seem that this would kill off all magic - soon after all, to have magic tricks revealed by Googling them makes a magician of everyone, does it not?
It was inside the 18th century that a dynamic and extravagant Italian magician referred to as Giovanni Giuseppe Pinetti brought card magic into the bigger arena of the theatre. Robert Houdini is now recognized as the very first actual performer of 'modern' magic. Houdini earned his fame in the mid 1800s. Howard Thurston was probably the very first master card manipulator, well-known during the early 1900s' for his "Rising Card" trick, and his uncanny capacity to toss his playing cards to the farthest reaches of his audience. In organization with Thurston, a lot of other renowned magicians have developed and perfected tricks implementing playing cards. Dai Vernon, Harry Houdini, and Charles Bertram. Nowadays, the magicians of note incorporate David Blaine, and Criss Angel. You've got likely noticed them both on Television.

CALLING ALL HARRY POTTER FANS: I have a question about first years' Hogwarts uniforms?
Greetings fellow HP fans, I have a question which has been on my mind for a while now. Basically, I read into everything in the HP books way too much and I want to know the following...
Well, as you already know, when first years get their acceptance letter, it comes with another piece of parchment telling them the uniform, books, cauldron, scale and other things they have to buy. My question is that how do the first years know what coloured robes to get (with either Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin crest) if they aren't sorted untill they arrive at Hogwarts on September 1st? And classes start the following day, September 2nd, and all the first years already have their house-appropiate robes on.
Sorry that it's a bit of a silly question but I really want to know. All input into this issue is welcome. Thank you in advance.
GO RAVENCLAW! (My house... =D)
The coloring on the robes was added by the people who made the costumes for the movie. In the books, the robes were just plain black work robes. Additionally, there's never any mention of a House crest on the uniform.
An explanation from the movies' point of view is that the morning after your sorting, you wake up to find that your robes have magically been altered to fit your house. This could either have been done by some magic ingrained within the castle's magic, or the house-elves did it.
My guess is which you have new tips about how the magician could have accomplished this magic trick. It may possibly aid for those who answer the following questions: How did the magician know the identity of the Chosen card, and when did he know it? How did the magician know the location of the Chosen card? What role did the blindfold play? What took place before the trick began? Please take a well-earned bow when you concocted any feasible method to do this trick. I now lift the wizard's curtain. The magician did the trick this way... Just before he was blindfolded, the magician secretly memorized the bottom card of the deck. This card became his 'Key' card. Magic and myth customes and supplies like the House Gryffindor Crest on this page are good gift suggestions for both kids and adults.
